Start of production of automatic weapons and cannons.

Joint capital of the company transferred from Industrie-Werke Karlsruhe-Augsburg AG (IWKA) to Diehl GmbH & Co., Nuremberg.

Contract for BK 27 aircraft cannon for the Swedish Gripen program.
1995
Joint capital of company transferred to Rheinmetall AG. Renaming of the company into "Mauser-Werke Oberndorf Waffensysteme GmbH".

Close cooperation with Oerlikon Contraves Pyrotec AG. Common market appearance as centre of excellence for medium calibre within the Rheinmetall DeTec group of companies.
