An integral part of the group's Weapon and Munitions division,
RWM Schweiz AG (former Oerlikon Contraves Pyrotec AG) specialises in the development and manufacture of medium calibre ammunition for land, air and naval applications, including antiaircraft rounds.

Its product range extends from conventional full-calibre and practice ammunition right through to intelligent munitions with programmable fuses. The RWM Schweiz array of products thus covers the full range of current and future threat scenarios.

Furthermore, strategic cooperation with Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH means that the company's product portfolio is complemented by medium calibre cannons and weapon systems.

The company, which has plants in Zurich and Altdorf in Switzerland, also maintains a test centre at Ochsenboden, equipped with firing ranges and proving grounds as well as the technical infrastructure necessary for testing ammunition, weapons and complete systems.
